Guest Poster - A. Royal Payne

We have a guest poster today :-) E-mail us if you would like to be a guest writer as well.

As A. Royal Payne introduced this blog to me "Before "We..." get hit by the train again, this might be a good time to reflect before deciding whether or not to vote November 2nd. The 2008 election was lost by less than 3%. 39% of the eligible voters stayed home. Will you be home hoping for results or making history? "

Have “We the People…” Traded the “Witch” for the Devil!
By A. Royal Payne

I was asked by one of my readers, “Who elected this man?” and I answered in part as follows:

George Soros! And a media network, untraceable money, and plethora of like-minded Progressive allies. He, his friends, and affiliates, like heavy crude collecting at the bottom of the Gulf, leave a sticky smelly residue on all that they touched. Affirmation from an obedient print and television media has traditionally accounted for a bump in the polls. Surprisingly, with all of this, he only received 52.9% of the popular vote, 7.3% more than McCain. Quite frankly the election was between two Progressives; one willing to be an accomplice to coconspirators and the other willing to pander to them.

Believers of Prophecy: There was a significant movement and belief, among some Christian groups, that Barak Hussein Obama II was the Anti-Christ incarnate. They voted for him believing he would hasten the Second Coming of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Surprising the President has been a consistent apologist to a second group of oblivion disciples. Some Iranian Shiites and Ahmadinejad in particular wish to hasten the coming of the 12th Imam, “Believers of Allah will be hidden with the prophet Mohammad, followed by a "wind of destruction" which will kill all the remaining people.” No room for a Heaven on Earth there!

Trial Lawyers: Contributions to federal candidates and political committees by lawyers have increased during the past 10 years, and collectively, they are consistently larger during presidential election years. Each cycle, the contributions significantly favor Democrats. According to OpenSecrets.org, “In the 2008 election cycle, the industry contributed a massive $234 million to federal political candidates and interests, 76 percent of which went to Democrat candidates and committees.” Trial lawyers, by-the-way, also contribute to the high cost of medical care in this country.

The Media: Once widely reported, until about two years ago, favorable media treatment was worth a 15-point bump in the polls. Wonder why that isn't reported anymore? Could it be to disguise Obama’s popularity as a "grassroots" movement? Members of the media have allowed a personal bias to influence the tone of their coverage. By and large, coverage favors the Democrat without respect to the validity of their claims or the consequence of their actions. Republicans are routinely demonized and “dangerous” Conservatives are vilified.

The Black Vote: The “he looks like me” mentality, 96% strong. Neat, clean and well-scrubbed the cover was judged and not the books: ( Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance and The Audacity of Hope - Barack Obama - Book Review - New York Times ). Remember the “journalist”, Charles Rose asking "who is this guy? We don't know anything about him." In the now famous Charlie Rose and Tom Brokaw exchange, when he asked, “we don’t know a lot about Barak Obama and his universe of thinking … we didn’t connect the dots.”
“I don’t know”? You didn’t look. Where are the journalists?

The Hispanic Vote: 67% for Obama. Although the percentage of Hispanics voting for Obama is not surprising considering the majority is registered as Democrats, what is of interest is the type of voter turnout. After amendments were made to the Immigration and Naturalization Act in 1965 (the Hart-Cellar Act) greater consideration was given to families rather than skills. With “no limits” with respect to specific countries of origin in the Western Hemisphere, the number “family” oriented immigrants were greatly increased. This was reflection of President Lyndon Baines Johnson’s Progressive agenda with which he hoped to tether minority and target groups to the democrats “for the next 200 years”.

The White Vote: Total white vote was 43% for Obama. Total voter turnout, with these other factors, made the difference. 54% of young (under 30) white voters chose Obama. Overall, 66% of the under 30 crowd were wooed to vote for the “King with No Clothes” by a series of meaningless suggestive slogans.

The Insecure: 70% of the unmarried female voters voted for Obama. Destroy the family unit and government becomes the answer, the father, the “man” in the house. Create a secular society and government becomes the Savior. Create fear and destroy will and government is the seditious opiate. With less than a 3% difference between winner and loser, “welfare” moms may have decided the election.

Women not only statistically outnumber men in the overall population, but also out vote them 53 to 47 percent. The secret to winning an election is not perceived support, but rather actual turnout.

Don’t forget grandma! Fragmented family units have contributed to the insecurity of senior adults who have had to progressively rely on government funded healthcare, housing, social security, and other programs to survive. Whether out of fear or concern, this group of voters has become locked into the Progressive’s Socialists downward spiral. Falsely addressed, the weight of senior demands will collapse the faulty systems conceived to pretend to help them. When voters allow themselves to be viewed as voting blocks, the concern of the politician is not for them, but rather for their vote. Politicians are fickle. They only have allegiance for and pay homage to the donation, the vote and the agenda that will keep them in place.

Just believing in traditional American ideals is not enough. Like the soldier, the voter must get out and defend these principals. Unfortunately politicians chase votes on a high-speed bus traveling over the roads of the nation’s best interests, the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the citizens themself. The future is too often viewed in the rearview mirror rather than through the windshield.

The Union Vote: 67% Obama, enough said about that. - Bought and paid for. The “looters” pander to and propagate the “moochers” who legitimize the looters to prey upon the producers. Once the “Amber Waves of Grain” are consumed, before they are able to germinate, and are no longer sustainable, starvation will ensue.

The stimulus packages “encouraged” by Obama and pandered as “shovel ready” were almost exclusively meant for union workers. “Joe Six-pack” was out of luck unless he had the “union label”. The 2010 $87 billion dollar investment in unions, teachers, fire fighters, and police was nothing more than payback for the Democrat’s $67 million dollar windfall in 2008. This little piece of “compassionate” legislation will net the Democrats another $50 million in donations (2010) from The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), for example. With like donations from other old union buddies, SEIU, AFL-CIO, UAW, NEA, and AFT, the take will certainly exceed $100 million. Not a bad return on investment! Essentially the American tax payers are funding the Marxist-Progressive agenda of this administration and ultimately their own demise.

It’s too late to remain the bachelor, a man who never made the same mistake once, but must we become the fatherless abandoned red-headed step child?

The White Apologist Vote: Those who believed, “I must personally atone for the sins...” (Make up your own excuse.) The "sinners" are long dead, but their ghosts were conveniently resurrected for the 2008 election. There are no reliable “repentant” statistics, but a string of pundits have sung the sinners chorus and others felt they were compelled to redress. Many voters dismissed or ignored Obama’s past and present associations for the honor of voting for the first black President. They hailed his election as a first, while they downplayed the fact that he was half white, but all wrong!

The Others: For the sake of brevity I have left out the groups considered by many as “fringe”. They can be found under the umbrella and the Open Society Institute (OSI), the Center for American Progress (CAP), the Commission for a Sustainable World Society (CSWS), Socialist International, and One Nation. There is little question who these people overwhelmingly selected.

Has he lied to us? Campaign promises are just that, promises. Did “We the people…” ask the right questions? No.

The first lie came with his Oath of Office, “I Barack Hussein Obama do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” He took this oath on Lincoln’s Bible with the spirit of Progressive President Franklin Delano Roosevelt gazing fondly over his shoulder. President Woodrow Wilson was there too, insuring his legacy, with an approving $50,000 “posthumous” donation from the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation toward the success of this 75 million dollar extravaganza.

In the court of public opinion, would the aforementioned be considered perjury?

Announcement to clear up confusion surrounding March on DC in September!

Over forty National Grassroots Organizations and at least two representatives from local levels of all fifty states are organizing, planning and executing the March On DC in September. It is the first ever event that is FOR the people and truly run BY the people. This is a purely grassroots, non-partisan coalition of American voters that is representative of the swing vote that will control the elections this November. We have all parties represented (mostly Conservative Independents with Conservative Democrats and Conservative Republicans but also represented is Veterans Party, Libertarian Party, Constitutional Party, Conservative Party, etc.). While all have varied political agendas….all have three things in common….Conservative, Constitutional and American! That is what this is about….restoring this country’s values, principles and the true constitutional ideals of our founding fathers. We have literally beat the dead horse long enough carrying signs that protest partisan politics and corruption…it is so far beyond that now….it is time to Unite In Action... and show the world American Solidarity... in what makes this country so strong….the Freedoms Guaranteed under its Constitution as well as the responsibilities of her citizens to preserve and protect those freedoms.

The National Board for the 912 March on DC to be held September 11th on the National Mall just came back from a very successful meeting with the National Parks Service, DC Metro Police and the Capitol Hill Police and all is a verified go!

There will be a two hour 911 Memorial at 7:00 AM at the Lincoln Memorial to honor the fallen that tragic day. Many of the first responders and families of the victims will be involved along with various speakers. This is our time to honor our founding fathers, fallen soldiers and victims of this terrible tragedy. We will renew our vow to never again allow this kind of tyranny, be it foreign or domestic, to threaten our soil again.

Those we honor did so for their posterity. Now it is our turn to do it for our posterity…so starting at 11:00 AM, we will take DC by storm (peacefully, of course)! The march will run from 3rd Avenue and Constitution down to 17th to spill into either the Ellipse, Washington Monument or Lincoln Memorial areas where the rally will take place. There will be staging at the Washington Monument and Massive Screens on stages at the Ellipse, along the Lincoln Memorial area and the lower Washington Monument. The sound system will cover the entire area.

There will be ample porta potties this time around with sufficient water supplies and food. This time all of the city run concessions along the National Mall will be open during the march and rally.

The rally will begin at 2:00 PM. It will last for three hours. Politicians, candidates and political strategists will not be provided a platform to speak at this event. There will be grassroots speakers, veterans, and patriotic entertainment. All speakers and entertainers will be announced at a later date.

We will be taking no sponsors for this event. It will be funded by activities held within each state to raise funds for their own groups and the national level will host its own fund raisers to fund the events. Other donations will come and be accepted on the individual level only! We will not accept donations from political parties, corporations, organizations or PACs.

There will also be the first Conservative Tradeshow held at the Reagan Center on September 9th and 10th. For more information on this please go to www.marchondc.org. We will have grassroots training classes, caucus/vetting training, seminars and lectures by leading Constitutional Authorities like Earl Taylor along with nightly entertainment venues open to the marchers. Night clubs will be set up with a different style of music or entertainment in each room (country, jazz, oldies, and rock near the National Mall).

There are over 30 hotels blocked through the organization for the marchers with prices ranging between $79 and $99 with a handful of hotels between $129 and $149. All are in Downtown DC, Arlington, Crystal City, Pentagon City and Alexandria. From the March on DC.org website we are developing state websites for local groups and organizers to arrange buses, air charters and hotel blocks to keep the states together and share resources.

There is another event that was just announced three weeks ago that is not be confused with this event. That is a march being hosted by Freedomworks and Tea Party Patriots. Their event is for the Washington Monument on the 12th. It is a one day event and they are also doing classes on the 11th for activist training.

Georgia needs to pursue all available options for enforcing State’s Rights, as guaranteed by the 10th Amendment

By Dawn Forbes (Golden Isles Tea Party, GA) [as submitted to the legislators in Atlanta]

We are here today to remind our government who the government belongs to – it belongs to “We the People.” This building (Georgia Capitol) houses our last defense against the Federal Power grab that is happening in Washington. They need to know that we will support them as they move to protect our state.

There are several options open to the great state of Georgia, and we should pursue them all. State Senator Judson Hill has proposed a Georgia Constitutional Amendment that will protect Health Care Freedom of Choice in Georgia. Also, we need to urge Attorney General Thurbert Baker to join with at least 13 other states to sue over the “Nebraska Compromise.” http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091231/ap_on_re_us/us_health_care_deal_states We’ve sent a letter to the Attorney General requesting this action, signed by 22 Tea Party and 9/12 Groups from across Georgia. As of yet, there has been no reply from his office. [UPDATE 1/28/10: Nelson has since removed this deal off of the table and has suggested that all states receive the same deal.]

But, possibly our best and strongest weapon could be nullification. Nullification is where a state says that a Federal law is null and void within that state because it is outside of Federal jurisdiction. This process has been used to return power to the states on issues from Firearm Freedom Laws to Medical Marijuana Laws. Montana and Tennessee have both nullified Federal Gun laws in their states for firearms that are not involved in interstate commerce, and 15 other states have introduced the legislation. Also, 15 States have nullified Real ID, including Georgia – with 20 more introducing legislation, and 13 states have laws regarding the use of Medical Marijuana which effectively nullifies Federal Marijuana laws. (Check www.tenthamendmentcenter.com for full information.) Nullification is a powerful tool that can allow each state to control its own destiny - both conservative and liberal states. The Federal government is NOT the supreme law of the land – the US Constitution is! DC cannot be allowed to step outside the guidelines of the U.S. constitution. Alexander Hamilton said “"No legislative act contrary to the Constitution can be valid.” And, Thomas Jefferson said, "The true theory of our Constitution is surely the wisest and best, that the States are independent as to everything within themselves, and united as to everything respecting foreign affairs. Let the General Government be reduced to foreign concerns only, and let our affairs be disentangled from those of all other nations, except as to commerce, which the merchants will manage the better, the more they are left free to manage for themselves, and our General Government may be reduced to a very simple organization, and a very inexpensive one; a few plain duties to be performed by a few servants."

We must encourage our state government to fight for State’s Rights and, more importantly, the individual’s rights as guaranteed in the US Constitution, as we work to return our government back to “We the People.”

13th Colony Patriots Denied Admittance to Judicial Building, Police Called and Shadowed Group

by Elizabeth Mancha

13th Colony Patriots and Golden Isles Tea Party organized a rally at the steps of the Capitol building in Atlanta on January 15, 2010. Patriots from Brunswick, Savannah, Atlanta, Tifton and others turned out to protest the proposed health care legislation. In addition, the crowd of approximately 100 people rallied to encourage Georgia state legislators to defend the rights of the states and refuse to allow, what would be, an unprecedented transfer of power from the states to the federal government. Following the rally, attendees separated and entered the Capitol building, Coverdell and Judicial buildings to deliver letters to a number of our elected officials.

A group that included the founder of 13th Colony Patriots, Elizabeth Mancha, three former military men (one of whom is in his late 80s), a former chaplain in the Air Force Reserve, and a retired Asst. Professor at Atlantic Armstrong Atlantic State University, entered the Capitol Building without incident and visited the office of Governor Purdue and others who proclaim to serve the residents of the great state of Georgia.

We then went the Judicial Building in order to hand-deliver letters to the office of the Attorney General, and candidate for Governor, Thurbert Baker.

Upon entering the building, the security guard asked the group who we were there to see. We told her we were there to see Baker. She asked us what we were there to see him about. I thought that was a rather odd question for her to ask, as it was really none of her business. However, we told her we wanted to talk to him about the proposed health care legislation and that we would like him to protect our State’s rights. She asked if we had an appointment. We told her we did not. We told her that we would be happy to drop the letters off to his secretary or Mr. Darrell Robinson. She said no.

She walked out of sight for a moment and returned to the security station. She said that she “was told” that we could put our letters in an envelope for Baker. We again told her that if he was not available that we would like to see his secretary or Mr. Robinson. She stood back from her station and started pacing back and forth. I searched my folder and pulled out letters addressed to Baker. I thought I had brought Baker’s phone number with me but could not locate it. She told us we had to leave. She said that we couldn’t “stand there and write a letter” and repeated that we had to leave. We told her that we were simply attempting to enter a public building, paid for with our tax dollars, so we could deliver letters to an elected official or his staff. We also told her that we had just visited the Governor’s office without an appointment and couldn’t understand why we couldn’t just drop a couple of sheets of paper to Baker’s office.

I could not find Baker’s phone number in my papers and attempted to reach my husband so he could call Baker’s office. Since I could not reach him I started writing a note to Baker. I asked the guard for her name several times. She refused to give it to me. She continued to pace back and forth. We heard the guard communicate on her phone that there was “a code” something, I can’t remember what. I continued to write my note with shaking hands. The time was 2:50pm.

Approximately five armed men in uniform entered the building and virtually surrounded us. I was still writing my short note to Baker. One of the officers asked the guard what was wrong. She told him that we wanted to see Baker and we didn’t have an appointment. I told the officer that we would like to see his secretary or Mr. Robinson to deliver letters to them. The female officer became increasingly agitated each time I reminded her that we would be happy to drop the papers off to Baker’s secretary or Mr. Robinson. The lead officer would not allow us to enter. I reminded him that it was a public building, but he said we had to leave. I asked him for his name. He identified himself as Officer Willingham. I asked the entry guard for her name again and she finally said, in a very reluctant tone, “Officer Lester”. Because she spoke so softly I asked for it again. She didn’t answer. I asked again, but she wouldn’t answer.

It should be noted that, during our visit, we observed two other people who entered the building and were allowed access. They were not asked for ID or if they had an appointment, however, one person in our group recalls them having badges.

We alighted the building to find two other officers arriving on the scene. We met up with other people who attended the rally as we walked to the next door building in order to continue delivering letters to State legislators.

We entered the Coverdell building and joined Dawn Forbes, founder of Golden Isles Tea Party, who was identifying building and room numbers for letter delivery with the aid of a guard. Much to our surprise, the same officers that surrounded us earlier entered the building and surrounded much of our group. One of the officers told another guard at the front desk, to call him if we gave them any problems.

We did not give anyone any problems before or after the seven police officers were called to remove us from a building that we pay for with our tax dollars, with the simple intent to deliver a couple of pieces of paper.

We didn’t yell at anyone, we weren’t threatening in anyway, we didn’t shout, we didn’t name call, we didn’t throw anything, we didn’t use abusive language, we didn’t touch anyone, yet we were determined to deliver our letters. We were simply trying to exercise our civil liberties and we were denied.
