The Golden Isles TEA Party Patriots are organizing a bus trip to DC for the Taxpayer March on Washington. This has become an amazing event, and is quickly becoming the largest mass gathering that Washington D.C. has ever seen. Over a million people are expected. Please be sure to visit www.912dc.org for all the info. They have a sign up there, with over 10,000 registered. Once you've registered there, it's fun to talk to all those from across the country who are coming from all 50 states, including Hawaii and Alaska. Also, they have maps of the parade route, updates on the schedule and speakers, and maps of the registered marchers. It's pretty exciting stuff, especially in light of the "hold-up" on the government Healthcare takeover. Our march will be perfectly timed for Congress to see after they return from recess on Sept 8th. The size of it won't be able to be ignored by them or the media.
We are encouraging as many as can to get "Golden Isles TEA Party T-shirts for the march. If you can't - no problem. They can be purchased at "It's All About You" on St. Simons Island near Brogan's North. (1-$15, 2-$25).
*Please register below so that we can update you more easily with additional information as it becomes available. Feel free to e-mail Dawn Forbes at goldenislesteaparty@gmail.com or William Temple at timepaststudio@bellsouth.net with any questions: or call William at 912-577-9676.
If you are unable to go, but you would like to help sponsor others who want to go, but can't afford the trip, please let me know. We have had a few cases of this, and I think it's a great idea! So, please let me know if you would like to to that or even if you would like to donate a little to the cause - and not a complete trip. If we all work together on this, I'm sure we can help the Golden Isles TEA Party Patriots have a large showing in DC.
Thank you to everyone for all of your help whether it be getting the word out, financially, or anything else. Hope you all have a great day!
This going to be great fun, and a part of history! Don't miss it! Up the revolution!

Apology for lapse in updates
First of all, I'd like to apologize for the lack of updates. I am working on getting some pictures up from the Fourth of July event. Also, the July 17th Healthcare Freedom Rally went very well. Jack Kingston's staff came out and met everyone and assured us that Rep. Kingston will be voting against all gov't involvement in health care.
We are starting to get together the plans for the Taxpayer March on Washington that will be on 9/12. You can find out more information about the march at http://www.912dc.org/We are hoping to charter a bus from Glynn County to help make the trip more affordable for those that wish to go. They are expecting 1 million + at this event, and you can see where people are registered from by going to the website listed above.
